I admittedly did not get much reading done this weekend, but right now I am currently reading:
A Drink Before The War by Dennis Lehane
Loving it so far! Excellent mystery, and the Boston-speak of the characters is spot-on.I'm also still listening to The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd on audio.
What will I read next? Ooooh, I have so many to choose from, and I'm not sure what to pick first.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey (for Banned Book Week)
Beneath the Glitter by Elle and Blair Fowler (received ARC from publisher, can't wait to read)
Every Day by David Levithan (have it from the library and have heard great things)
Elizabeth the Queen: The Life of a Modern Monarch by Sally Bedell Smith (have been waiting to read this for a long time)

Haven't read that Dennis Lehane book, but I did enjoy Shutter Island =)
ReplyIs this the newest Lehane? I've read a few of his and always enjoyed them. I also liked The Mermaid Chair, though not quite as much as The Secret Life of Bees ;)

Have you read other Lehane books before? Are they any good? I read Shutter Island a year or so ago and loved it. I thought about picking up more of his book but was unsure if they'd be as enjoyable.
